Включение SMART для HDD с помощью smartctl
Как писал ранее начал мониторить работу хддешек с помощью smartctl, но вот беда, добравшись до очередного сервера, и запустив привычное smartctl -a /dev/имя устройства, получил следующую бяку:

SMART support is: Available — device has SMART capability. — смарт доступен для этого винта
SMART support is: Disable — но блин выключен)))
Включить его еще проще чем мониторить:
# smartctl -s on /dev/ad10 smartctl 5.40 2010-10-16 r3189 [FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE amd64] (local build) Copyright (C) 2002-10 by Bruce Allen, http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net === START OF ENABLE/DISABLE COMMANDS SECTION === SMART Enabled.
